For some reason all my commissions lately seem to be of dragon porn. I’m not complaining because I get money but still, I’m curious about the recent surge in dragon porn.
Also when I look at this now the ladies look pretty bored. I need to work on my horror expressions.

I dunno, I wanted to try something fairly detailed in relation to actual animals rather then just stylizing them. Then I fucked it up and added masks. Then I justified the masks with a background, like all my art the majority of it was done to hide the fact I suck. The bigger one is a wolf and the smaller one is a fox, I cropped it for your delicate eyes.
So once upon a time I got this commission of a feline and canine with water and fire powers, oddly not related to avatar. I knew the guy who asked me to do this pretty well and considered him a close friend up until he blindsided me with some raging homophobia. I was so pissed off I never finished this for him and it always bothered me. He had paid for this so I should have just finished it, in any professional setting what I did was illegal. It makes me worry about future commissions and contracts where people reveal horrible personality traits to me and I have to keep working with them, I lose my shit too easily over that kind of stuff.

Just collecting my thoughts on a comment I had received from my instructor (on amicable terms, mind) during a critique today. Wanted to take it home and mull over it so I can be prepared to properly argue the point next week.
